The REALITAETENLABOR provides a space for interdisciplinary and application-oriented developments in Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR), collectively referred to as Extended Reality (XR). It is affiliated with the Department of Information and Communication Management at the Technical University of Berlin. As a network of researchers from Berlin universities, we are committed to fostering the exchange of knowledge, technologies, and resources within this increasingly complex and specialized field. Our goals are twofold: first, to advance the integration of local XR projects and strengthen collaboration; and second, to actively shape the interconnection between academic XR research and teaching and its practical, public-facing applications.
